Local artist Jeremy Raymer has spray-painted dozens of spooky scenes across Allegheny County. The murals feature monsters and movie stars in Lawrenceville, Bloomfield and the Strip District. Residents can use the walls as backdrops for holiday photos.

Mulberry Way in Lawrenceville serves as a primary location for Raymer's work. The alley displays two jack-o'-lanterns and Slimer from the movie Ghostbusters. A pastel skeleton, Skeletor and Pittsburgh-born Poltergeist actress Zelda Rubinstein also appear on the walls. Kyra Schon, the young ghoul from Night of the Living Dead, is painted nearby. On Charlotte Street around the corner, Raymer added a Great White Shark and a skeletal version of Bart Simpson.

Butler Street in Lawrenceville hosts additional pieces. Almond Way in Centeral Lawrenceville features a mural of special effects legend Tom Savini. Savini worked on the original Friday the 13th in 1980 and Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter in 1984. A tribute to the movie Home Alone is also located on Butler Street.

Bloomfield offers its own collection of Raymer's work. Taylor Street displays a character from the 1982 film Creepshow. The mural of Jeff Goldblum is located at Creative Chem Co. in Little Italy. The Strip District features a mural of Frankenstein's monster at 33rd Street and Penn Avenue.
